Oats, tender apples and plump raisins are combined with cinnamon and pure maple syrup topped with flax meal, walnuts, dried cranberries and an almond butter drizzle… YUMMY!

2-4 servings

  • 1 cup old fashioned oats, gluten free

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 medium apple, diced (peeled if non-organic)

  • 1/4 cup raisins

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp pink salt (optional)

  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup

  • Toppings: almond butter, raw walnuts, flax meal, hemp hearts, unsweetened cranberries, a dash of cinnamon

  1. Add oats, water, salt, raisins & apple to a small pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 mins or until the water has absorbed - stirring occasionally.

  2. Add cinnamon and maple syrup stirring to combine.

  3. Place in bowl and add any or all of the toppings above. Enjoy!

NOTE: I make a double batch on meal prep day and enjoy it several times. Add a little plant- based milk when reheating. Feel free to switch up the nuts, seeds & berries to your liking! Also makes a great dessert.
