Nice Cream is a dairy-free alternative to ice cream and is made with frozen fruit. Pink dragon fruit and pineapple give this Nice Cream a tropical spin. It’s a quick and easy five minute recipe! V, DF, GF.
Makes about 1 ¼ cup
Ingredients:
2 small ripe bananas, cut into 1” pieces and frozen*
½ cup frozen dragon fruit
¼ cup frozen pineapple chunks
TOPPERS, OPTIONAL:
Shredded coconut, diced mango, frozen dragon fruit
Method:
Use a food processor with the S-blade. Add all the fruit and blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
Taste after fully blending. You can add a drizzle of pure maple syrup or raw honey to increase sweetness depending on your preference.
Enjoy immediately for best results.
If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container and freeze up to 2 weeks. Pull the Nice Cream out of the freezer 10-15 minutes before enjoying.
NOTE: *Freeze bananas that are just starting to get a few brown spots.
