This wild blueberry smoothie is a simple, antioxidant-packed breakfast made with frozen berries, spinach, and creamy non-dairy milk. It blends up fast, tastes refreshing and naturally sweet, and can be boosted with your favorite superfood add-ins for extra nutrients. Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk

  • ¾ cup frozen wild blueberries

  • ¼ cup frozen cherries

  • ½ frozen banana

  • 1 cup spinach, packed (or kale)

  • 1 serving plant-based protein powder (or 3 Tbsp hemp hearts)

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or peanut butter)

  • 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

  • Small piece fresh ginger

  • Water as needed

  • Ice (optional)


Superfood Add-Ins, Optional

  • Fresh turmeric + pinch black pepper [ Anti-inflammatory ]

  • Spirulina [ Minerals + antioxidants ]

  • Mushroom powder [ Immune support ]

  • Açaí or maca powder [ Energy + antioxidants ]

  • Dates, pitted [ Natural sweetness ]


Method:

  1. Add milk to a blender, then all remaining ingredients.

  2. Blend until smooth, adding water as needed.

  3. Enjoy immediately.


Prep Tip:

Freeze ingredients (except milk/water) in quart freezer bags for easy grab-and-blend smoothies.
