CHIMICHURRI SAUCE

Fresh herbs are combined with lemon juice, lots of garlic, extra virgin olive oil and spices to create this delicious sauce! Add a dollop to roasted veggies, avocado toast and creamy vegetable soups - or stir into your favorite grain or pasta for added flavor. DF, GF, V


Yields about ½ cup

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup firmly packed fresh cilantro, chopped fine (mostly leaves)

  • ½ cup firmly packed fresh parsley, chopped fine (mostly leaves)

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp sea salt

Directions:

  1. Add all the ingredients to a airtight container and stir until combined

  2. Add a lid and store in the fridge for up to a week.
