A quick & simple recipe that can be added to smoothies, granola, matcha lattes, golden milk or chai lattes for a dairy free alternative.
1/2 c non-GMO oats + 2 c cold soaking water
3.5 c cold water
1/4 tsp Himalayan pink salt
2 Medjool dates, pitted
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Soak oats and dates (if using) for 15 minutes.
Stir well and strain water with a fine mesh strainer, discard water. Rinse oats one more time removing excess starch.
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend quickly until smooth, about 1-2 minutes depending on blender.
Pour into a nut milk bag and squeeze gently. You can also pour into a fine mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth. Strain twice.
Store in an airtight jar for a 3-4 days. Enjoy!
